Left, Full Dress from La Miroir de la Mode, 1803. This dress has a matching turban trimmed with a spray of short feathers. The fur tippet around the lady's neck reaches to the floor. Two bracelets are worn high on the arms between the short sleeves and long gloves. The purse and slippers are in a slightly lighter shade than the rust of the dress.
Right: Full Dress, from The Lady's Magazine, March 1802 This full dress in the Paris style is worn with a turban in the Asiatic style. The robe is trimmed with artificial flowers and foliage. The lady carries a shawl draped over one arm.
